Cricket Betting Markets
Below are the most popular bet types for BPL, IPL, T20 World Cup and ICC tournaments.
Match Winner
Bet on which team will win the match. For example, picking Bangladesh Tigers as the winner in a Bangladesh vs India match.
Toss Winner
You can bet on which team will win the toss before the game begins. Simple, with a quick result.
Top Batsman
Bet on which batsman will score the most runs in the match. Can apply across both innings or just one.
Total Runs Over/Under
Bet on whether the total runs in a set number of overs or a full innings will be above or below a given line.
Session Runs
Bet on how many runs will be scored in a specific set of overs. For example, whether more than 50 runs will be scored in overs 16–20.
Player of the Match (POTM)
You can place a bet in advance on which player will receive the Player of the Match award at the end of the game.
Live In-Play Betting
In live betting, odds change after every ball. When a wicket falls the batting team's odds rise, and after a six or four they drop. Odds move quickly during the powerplay, death overs and the final 5 overs — following these moments closely makes it easier to spot opportunities.
Sports Betting vs Casino Games
Two different experiences — read the comparison below to find out which one suits you.
| Category | Sports Betting | Casino Games |
|---|---|---|
| How outcomes are decided | Determined by on-field performance and real match events. | Determined by a Random Number Generator (RNG) or a live dealer. |
| Role of research | Analysing team form, pitch conditions and head-to-head history can be useful. | Knowing the game rules matters, but each round is an independent event. |
| Speed and pace | Excitement builds gradually over hours as the match progresses. | Each round is over within a few seconds to a few minutes. |
| Session length | Typically long, following the duration of a match. | Players set their own time; short sessions are possible. |
| Margin and edge | The bookmaker margin is built into the odds. | The house edge varies by game and is known in advance. |
| Best suited for | Players who know cricket or football well and enjoy analysis. | Players who want to enjoy the atmosphere and prefer quick results. |

Local Card Games
Popular card games from Bangladesh and South Asia are now available to play online.
Teen Patti
Each player receives three cards and the best hand wins. Play with a live dealer or against other players. Tip: Beginners should avoid "side bets".
Andar Bahar
One card is placed face-up in the middle of the table, then you bet on which of the two piles — "Andar" or "Bahar" — will get a matching card first. Played with a live dealer. Tip: It's a 50-50 odds game, so managing your budget is key.
Callbreak
A four-player trick-taking game — you must call your hand each round. Played against other players, no live dealer. Tip: Spades are the trump card — use this advantage wisely.
Ludo / Rummy
Online Ludo and Pool Rummy versions from various providers including JILI are available. Played against other players in a real money format. Tip: Practice at free tables first.
RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP (Return to Player) is the long-term statistical payout rate of a game. For example, if a slot has an RTP of 96%, there is theoretically an average chance of ৳96 being returned for every ৳100 wagered — but this is calculated as an average across thousands of spins, not within a single session.
In general, RTP ranges vary across different game types. Slot games typically show 92–98%, blackjack can reach around 99%, and roulette tends to be around 94–97%. A higher RTP means the house has a smaller long-term edge.
House Edge is the flip side of RTP. If a game's RTP is 96%, the house edge is 4%. It is the casino's long-term mathematical advantage — a measure of how much the casino retains on average from each bet.
Understanding RTP and volatility (the rate of variance) before you play is important. High-volatility games can pay out larger amounts but less frequently. Low-volatility games offer more frequent wins but in smaller amounts. Choose a game that suits your budget and preference.
Keep in Mind
- RTP is a long-term average — it does not apply to every individual session.
- Every spin or hand is an independent event — previous results do not determine the next one.
- There is no "system" that guarantees a win.
- Only play with a budget set aside for entertainment, never with borrowed money.
Gambling Myths and the Truth
There are many common beliefs that do not hold up in reality — find out the truth here.
"If a slot hasn't paid out for a long time, a big win must be coming soon."
FactEvery spin is determined entirely independently by an RNG. Previous results have no influence on the next spin.
"Placing bigger bets makes it easier to recover previous losses."
FactIncreasing your bet does not recover losses — it only raises the risk. Each round is its own independent event.
"The Martingale or any other betting system guarantees profit in the long run."
FactNo betting system can eliminate the house edge. If you hit a losing streak while using a system, your bets can quickly exceed your budget.
"Winning several times in a row means a 'hot streak' — betting more now will lead to more wins."
FactA "hot streak" or "cold streak" is not a real pattern. Statistically, every round is independent.
"Playing in the evening or at night gives a better chance of winning."
FactTime of day has no connection to the payout rate. The RNG works the same way around the clock.
"The results of online casino games are manipulated."
FactTrusted platforms use certified RNGs and results are verifiable. 99etd uses SSL encryption to ensure safety and fair play.
